On July 13, 2020, Microsoft opened up pre-orders, and announced that Flight Simulator 2020 for PC, will be available on 18th of August 2020
There is already many rumors about implementation of head tracking in this flight sim.
We heard that the VR will not be implemented… but how much truth is it – nobody knows as of yet.
If the VR will not be supported, in our whole opinion, the head tracking with free-track protocol or sim-connect will be a must to do for the developers of the game.
For now we can only wait patiently, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 could be a real game changer for the upcoming years !
All the best and stay tuned !

Hello, the Track IR support is implemented since the last alpha release, do you have any feedback from an alpha tester with your product ? Thanks a lot 🙂
Yes, we do have this confirmed, one of our customers have early access and he got this working with DELANCLiP
Which protocol? Freetrack or sim connect?
Any howto to get this working in MSFS 2020? I’m using FacetrackNoir, and can’t seem to get it working… Is there any way to manually edit and insert FS2020 in the CSV file?
@Martin: did you get it work yet?
I got FTNOIr a few days ago. Took me quite a while fiddling with smoothing and curves but now it’s running like a champ. A world of difference with not using head tracking. Take about immersive…
Let me know if you still need help.
hi, it works out of the box, there is no additional in-game setup required.
Hi, I’m having trouble finding the .exe file for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator, could somone give me a clue please? Thanks in advance
Worked for me without selecting any .exe, just start msfs, no change of any settings, and fly 🙂
